I've raised £1000 to make Ollie's home more accessible

Hello, we are the Meredith Family and we are raising money for our disabled son Ollie.
Ollie is 4 years old and suffers with a genetic condition called Pallister Killian Syndrome; this effects Ollie's mobility, speech, vision, hearing and more. Due to the condition, Ollie also suffers from recurrent chest infections and a number of different types of epilepsy which has caused significant brain damage. When Ollie is fit and well he is a really happy young man with a great personality but he can go from being fit, happy and healthy to struggling with breathing difficulties within hours. We have been had some tough times with Ollie where doctors didn't think he was going to make it and we were transferred to Ty Hafan for end of life care, but the little trooper defied the odds again and pulled through.
The older Ollie gets - the bigger he gets! Ollie is now 22kg and it’s proving difficult and dangerous to carry Ollie up and down stairs to get to his bedroom and bathroom. Unfortunately there is only so much money available to the council to allocate disability facility grants (DFG's) and they are unable to help us make our home more accessible for our son. We have already started work on our home using money recently raised to start making the adaptations necessary to achieve our goal; we would love to use any donations made to complete the adaptations in our home to make not only our lives easier but Ollie's life too.
We don’t know what the prognosis is for Ollie as he is very unique and has defied all of the doctor’s expectations. We treasure every moment we have with Ollie and count him as a blessing, this is why we would like to make his life as easy and carefree as we possibly can. We would like to thank you all in advance for reading our story and supporting our family. We wouldn’t be able to make any of this possible for Ollie without the donations previously made and anymore raised in the future! Lots of love Sophie, Sean, Summer and Ollie xxx
