How blessed are our youth to come home to a warm home, to people who love them so dearly, to a warm home cooked meal, to have true friends to socialise with? Blessings taken for granted every single day.

I truly believe every child needs and deserves a strong foundation, a loving and supportive home and environment but, unfortunately the reality is that this isn’t the case for thousands of children. In a perfect world it would be, but we know this isn’t a perfect world.

In Morocco about 6000-7000 children are abandoned at birth each year, primarily by single women (according to UNICEF).

I have been blessed with an amazing opportunity to help these children, to try and give them just a few moments of happiness. I intend to help fund a play area/activity centre for the children as they currently do not have any easily accessible activities to take part in, they are unable to go anywhere without supervision and unfortunately there are not enough volunteers to supervise and fund these activities. So my intention is to help create a small little play area for the children.

I have had a lot of requests to support this project so I have decided to set up a fundraising page.
