Pepper has always had sporadic coughs throughout her life which we have always managed. Over the course of the last 3 months the coughs were so incredibly bad that she broke her own bronchial chord which trapped 200ml of air on top of her lungs. She was admitted to a 24HR vet clinic where this was removed and she had a hundred tests to figure out the problem. Unfortunately we had a couple of misdiagnosis's during the first few weeks and visited 4 vets once her coughing returned with a vengeance. After spending a considerable sum so far, we unfortunately do not have the funds for Peppers next steps.

She has now been diagnosed with Pneumothorax and will at some point have to have more chest X-rays and CT scans, with possible air removal. This is where JustGiving will hopefully help us with a fund for Pepper. Western medicines and certain vets have failed Pepper, our approach with her has now been holistic, and the improvements are noticeable as each week goes by. Dogs can live happy and long with this condition if treated correctly and with infections kept at bay.

Pepper has been my life for 6 years, me and her against the world. I need my girl for as long as I can have her. She is happy, heathy in every other way and so full of love and care she needs to stay in this world. Her smile is captivating, her love for food is endless and her energy and diva like behaviour is slightly reminiscent of Beyonce.
