Sriyani’s is my Sri Lankan mother ! She works at Hoppa as the head chef and has a 17 year old daughter. She raised her daughter on her own as the father left the hospital the day she was born never to return.

At age 11, her daughter Sadali developed a skin rash. They went to the hospital and the doctors gave her cream and antibiotics which made it worse. Six years later, she still has this rare skin condition, they dont know why. She must take medication everyday to keep it at bay. The medication is 5000 rupees a month, the average wage is less than 10,000 per month. Half her wages go straight to the medication. Sriyani is a single mother and cannot afford this. Im hoping to raise at least one months medication, and I will match whatever we raise !
