Story

PLEASE HELP US TO HELP OUR FRIEND
We are some of the senior students at YSD Theatre School in Crewe. We have danced together from a very young age and have not only become the best of friends but are like one big family.
Ten months ago, our lives turned upside down when we found out that one of our class members was extremely poorly and had been rushed to Alder Hey Hospital. Our friend Ellie MD, had suffered a bleed on her brain and over the following few days and weeks had to have four major brain surgeries and a further five complicated procedures.
For anyone that knows Ellie, you’ll know she is a fighter. She is also extremely positive, strong, enthusiastic, funny and talented. Her surgeons were incredible and along with the determined attitude that Ellie consistently shows, she beat the odds, pulled through and eventually came home.
But, her story doesn’t end there. Ellie has had to learn to do lots of things all over again, things that she used to take for granted such as walking, moving certain limbs and singing. The left side of Ellies body still has some weakness and so continuous physio is required.
This summer, as part of her continued recovery Ellie has been offered a place on an intense therapy programme in London which will provide the specialist help she needs for her long term recovery.

Unfortunately this comes at a very high cost.

We want to help our friend Ellie get the support she not only needs, but deserves, and so we have set up this fundraising page in the hope you can help us to take some of the financial pressure away from Ellies Mum & Dad

Thank you so much for your support
