I've raised £3000 to Help fund an electric scooter/chair, to help me gain some independence again.

Hello,
I am a 33 year old disabled woman, whom has seen my health due to a neurological auto immune condition, deteriorate to the point I am mostly housebound and can only leave my house in my wheel chair with an assistant.
I am 2 ½ years into trying to get a PIP appeal, but due to technicalities out of my control, it keeps getting adjourned and pushed back. This happened to me again in the last appeal I attended.
I am stuck at the moment, with only being able to leave my house when my husband is not working his 6 days a week, 12 hours a day shifts, or my carer can help me if my health is good enough at that moment to leave the house.
I really need an electric wheelchair or scooter, to give me access to the outdoor world on my own terms again.
6 years ago, I was an athlete competing internationally and a business development manager, running a think tank. My world changed dramatically after a car accident caused by recent road works creating an adverse camber on a round about. Luckily I was only going 20mph, but my accident was serious enough to herniate 3 spinal discs and break some ribs, as well as nerve damage. Due to further medical errors, I later fell seriously ill with fibromyalgia and myalgic encephalitis. These conditions have reduced me to extremely limited activity and the inability to manage my day to day care. Despite social services and GP's seeing my needs and giving me access to a carer and support, the DWP are at odds with medical professionals over my needs.
I am exasperated at a system with no recourse for abuse and am now turning to social media, to attempt to get some level of independence back in my life.
Thank you for all who took the time to read through this and thank you to those who have felt able to donate to my cause.
