You may know Bal as the big friendly bear who often frequents certain orange music events.

You may know him from his infamous Facebook posts - cheering your Monday with posts to make you smile and feel human again. Or Friday to help get you in the mood. Either way, a selfless act of love.

What you may not know is that every year he travels to help those less fortunate than ourselves. So when we are talking of getting the shades and flip-flops out to lay in the garden. Or to fly off to sunnier climes. He is walking into disaster areas in the US. To help those who have lost everything... to help them rebuild what they can. He does this as a volunteer.

Now, as a volunteer, he receives zero financially. Infact he has to pay for everything, Including his flights, unless he is gifted accommodation or food, etc when there. So... this year. Lets help Bal keep his strength up... you know Bal likes a lion bar or 2.... and they cost cash money. Not love, hugs or FB likes.

So I am asking for us all to Help Bal Help People. There are 13,000 clockies out there that we know of. The target is 5k to make sure he isn't left out of pocket... But we should try and smash that as Bal is known to break his tools from shear overworking during his 12 hour days. That or nail gunning himself in the head and having to pay hospital fees.

That is 38p... less than a lion bar each :)
