Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
We are trying to raise a little bit of money to help our college after being a victim of the Flash Flooding that affected Birmingham and most devastatingly Sir Johns Road when the River Rea broke its banks on Sunday 27th May.
John had to rush home to his family practically swimming through 5ft of water in some places to get to his house to find his family safe upstairs but the whole of the downstairs of his home, all his sons toys and equipment, buggies and all of their possessions destroyed By raw sewage and dirty river water. They then needed to be rescued by the Fire Brigade.
John is extremely hard working member of The Fighting Cocks Pub in Moseley part of Mitchell's and Butlers . This has made them temporarily homeless with a small child.
We are just looking to raise a bit of money to help with unforeseen expenses and to help replace his sons toys and equipment buggies etc.
Any amount donated I know will be appreciated and go a long way to helping the family get back to normality.
