My wonderful friend Cat sadly lost her wonderful mum Fran to covid on 10th December after weeks on a ventilator in intensive care. Cat is self employed as a piercer and hasn't been able to work for months on end this year due to covid, and to top it off has been diagnosed over the summer with muscular dystrophy, a life long degenerative genetic condition which may see her unable to work in a few years. This is to help her not to struggle financially whilst she adjusts to life without her mum, whilst she grieves and takes time off to get affairs in order and to adjust to life with a genetic condition.
