Story

Charlie age 10 was born at 29 weeks weighting 3lb5 unfortunately he suffered a bleed to the brain which resulted in him having cerebral palsy.
In July 2015 Charlie had an operation on his spine called Sdr which involved cutting the nerves around the bottom of the spinal cord to reduce the spasticity in his legs to help him be able to walk with 2 years of intensive Physio he has managed to take unaided steps.
He recently had an appointment with his consultant and they have decided he will need an operation on his feet where they will fuse the bone on the top of his foot together to help keep his foot in the correct position and also lengthen the tendons as the muscle is very tight Charlie will be off his feet for 8 weeks then will need 12-24 months recovery time to get back to where he is now.
So we are fundraising to try and raise as much as we can to help cover his Physio costs after surgery as the NHS will only provide so much.
