Story
About 17 months ago Chris started complaining that his leg felt weak, there was no pain or discomfort so we didn't think it was an issue, this then progressed to a prominate limp. He visited the Dr and thought he would get told to do some excersises. However the Dr seemed very concerned when he noticed that his leg muscle was wasting and his muscles were twitching. After many tests we received the devastating news that, my amazing Husband has Motor Neurones Disease. Our lives and our Children's lives and be thrown into uncertainty. And at the age of 44 we are now arranging bucket lists and house modifications as Chris is only going to get weaker and is already finding the stairs a struggle. I am trying to raise money to create wetroom, install a stairlift and other house adaptions so he is as comfortable as possible as the disease progresses. Motor Neurones Disease is a horrible life limiting illness and I'm still so shocked that my fit, healthly and hardworking Husband has been dealt such a cruel hand. Any help will alleviate the additional expense incurred by this cruel disease. Many thanks for listening xx
