    Story

Hello my name is Ann-Marie and I am asking for your help today. I have had a hard life,my parents died when I was 13 years old and I was raised by my sister who had only just turned 18 herself. We had no other family so it was just me and her against everything and it was not easy. Our parents where everything to us and we were lost without them, we had taken care of them from a young age as they were both disabled. My sister had to get a job to keep me in school and I left at 16, we both got a job at the same workplace and everything was smooth for a while until the boss started to bully me, she didn't like that I was a child as she said and would call me useless and put me down in front of anyone and everyone, she also hated how close me and my sister were. Eventually there was a big drama where my sister was accused of something which she didn't do and when we went to get our wages there was literally a lynch mob of our colleagues that we thought were our friends shouting abuse at us. Needless to say we lost our jobs after this we struggled with bills and we were forced into bankruptcy and lost our parents house. Obviously with everything going on we fell into a deep depression. Everything was a struggle, I didn't even want to get out of bed in the morning. This went on for a while and we just struggled through taking each day as it came.It got really bad especially when we had bad neighbors and got our main door kicked in and then had police round Xmas eve one year telling us our neighbor had hurt someone. This new flat was also up a lot of stairs and it was such a struggle to walk them whenever we wanted to go out, especially for my sister and it was around then that she actually developed agoraphobia and didn't leave the flat. I think all the drama from work and losing our house didn't help. So now I had to face the world alone and do all the shopping and everything to look after my sister as her health starting to deteriorate. She has mobility problems and all sorts so she can't stand up for long etc. At one point everything got on top of us and we were going to end it all together, luckily enough we sought some help and was diagnosed with depression, anxiety etc. I also have developed some mobility issues and have constant joint pain and stiffness. The only thing that keeps me going is the prospect of things getting better in the future and my sister. She's all I have in the world and I would do anything for her. I have made this page today to ask for help, we are still struggling to get by but are trying our Best would love to have your help to get driving lessons for myself, a little car and insurance. I have a provisional driving licence ready but I just cannot afford everything else. We are both on benefits and just getting by. A car would mean so much,i could take my sister out and about, get shopping and bits and just give us our freedom.

Thank you so much for reading this, any donation is greatly appreciated.
