Weʼve raised £35 to Help Ella raise money for PICU and Lion Ward who have and continue to care for her in hospital
- Funded on Saturday, 30th March 2019
Don't have time to donate right now?
Story
We are trying to raise money for two of the children's wards in Kings Collage Hospital.
PICU took care of Ella after her surgery when she was in critical condition, she was in their care for 4 Weeks.During this time the staff were very supportive and caring as well as very patient with all our questions.
Ella is now in LION Ward where she continues to be cared for by a number of different departments including nurses, neurosurgeons, physio and many more. She will likely stay here for a few months continuing to get the care she needs.
Both wards have limited resources and are currently having to share certain items such as a hoist. They both also have limited items for the children to play with and facilities for the parents for example cutlery, kettle, sensory equipment, dvds, colouring, games. It would also be nice to provide a special chair in which parents can give their children a cuddle comfortably, especially when the child is larger like Ella it is impossible to hold her in the chairs they currently have in LION Ward.
We would appreciate any donation big or small, along with this donation page i am organising an event to raise money however it is still in planning stages. Collections will continue throughout Ella's stay and will be handed over early next year giving time for the planning and hosting the event. Funds will be split 50/50 between both wards.
Thank You
