Story
Ukrainian civilians are constantly losing their lives and homes to missile, rocket and drone attacks that result in fire. Residential high-rise buildings are in particular danger.
The city of Zaporizhzhia, located only 70 km from the front line, has been ruthlessly attacked since the first days of invasion. Rescuers and firefighters of the city bravely save the lives of residents around the clock, but they need your help.
To reach high floors and to save as many people as possible, specific wreckers and cranes are required, equipped with the necessary rescue equipment for evacuation missions and firefighting.
Our goal is to raise 50,000 euros. This amount, subject to appropriate eligibility checks, will be doubled by the Community Initiative of the EBRD, thus providing Ukrainian Fire Fighters NGO with enough funds to provide needed support to Ukraine's rescuers.
The more equipped firefighters will be, the more innocent human lives can be saved. Please join and help the Ukrainian rescuers in their mission.
About Ukrainian Firefighters Foundation
Ukrainian Firefighters Foundation ("Charity Foundation Chervona Kalyna of Ukraine") is a fund to support Ukrainian rescuers and firefighters. The foundation is the biggest and most effective fund, one of the few that works directly with Ukrainian State Emergency Services, which are saving people in the most war-torn areas such as Kherson, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Donetsk regions.
They have already bought and deployed 4 fire trucks, 5 operational and staff vehicles, 3 armoured rescue vehicles for evacuation, more than 200 sets of modern individual chemical protection and delivered more than 20 tons of humanitarian aid to the frontline.
