Hanna was born with a rare Costello syndrome - only about 350 cases have been reported worldwide. So she is a very special little girl. Hanna's conditions makes it difficult for her to grow and develop - her heart is not working as it should, her belly hurts most of the time and weak muscles make her tired very quickly. But she loves to play with her dolls, go for walks and explore the world as every 4 year old girl does.

Hanna needs constant rehabilitation and speech therapy (she can say mum, dad and wow!). She also needs regular visits to the cardiologist, neurologist, gastroenterologist and dentist. Hanna takes daily lots of medication which eases her pain and helps with her psychomotor development.

It all costs lots of money and the government support is not enough unfortunately. Right now, Hanna's parents are struggling with making sure she will receive all the medication and therapy she needs.
