Story

Hi, my name is Robin and I am trying to raise money for my wife Pamela who has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer. I am raising the money to help with travel costs for hospital visits as well as to help with making her life a little easier during this difficult time.

Pamela suffers with Sensory Ataxia which stems from a virus on her brain seven years ago which has left her unable to walk without assistance. She was officially diagnosed with lung cancer after it was found in January this year when she had x-rays for severe pain in her shoulder.

I am officially a carer for my wife and we live on a very tight budget as I am unable to work so we rely on UK government assistance which most of the time is a struggle. Any money raised will in the first instance be used to assist us with hospital travel costs and to provide her with a mobility scooter as she is mostly housebound due to her Ataxia. We would also use donations to lessen the impact of household expenses so that we can concentrate on her treatment and general comfort.
