Story
With everything going on in Ukraine and feeling useless, I have finally found a way to support the cause.
I originally come from Poland (Pila) where I’ve been informed Ukrainia families are being placed
Me, and family started a Justgiving page and flew to Poland on 1st April to work with the support network for Ukrainians donating funds for clothing, food, shelter, medication, and much needed essentials for those in need. We are asking for anyone willing to donate or once again to this cause no matter how small so we can continue to support....

2 years agoFinal morning before heading home 🇺🇦 ✌️ We did another quick shop for the many children at the local hostel to give them a bit of respite from pasta and spam with some naughty but nice sugary treats, games, toys and crisps. We had also reached out to a family of 5 (consisting of 4 generations ) all sleeping on bunk beds in the hostel (sadly we had run out of time to do a big shop for them and so presented them with the final supply of donations so they could choose what they needed) 🥕 🥦 🍗 🥛 Thank You 🙏 🇺🇦 ✌️

2 years agoDay 3 - 🇺🇦 ✌️ part 3 We met up with Ukrainian artist Anna who (from our first trip) your donations funded a mural at the same school (as well as our own funded drawing of our cat). We noticed with every family we encountered both this visit and the last, despite having very little the hospitality and gratitude was constant and very humbling. Tomorrow is our last day and we’re almost out of funds, if you wish to donate now is the time before heading home 🇺🇦 Thank you again for your support 🇺🇦

2 years agoDay 2 - 🇺🇦 ✌️ part 2 Our biggest achievement (if that’s the right word in this setting) was visiting the local school and meeting 5 families and being able to help towards rebuilding their future e.g. cake making items for a pastry chef, a massage table for a trained masseur, a sewing machine for a seamstress, funds towards an eye test & glasses for a 13 year old who is struggling with his vision, a 9 year old who desperately needs to see a dentist.....
