Gizzie came into mt little Guinea Pig Resce in Weat Norfolk called Pigateers Rescue & Rehoming.
She was found on the side off the road, in a stagger heat of 30+ Degrees. Which has been very hot for the U.K.
Marie, the women who found Gizzie, managed to catch her and take her to the vets, where they announced ahe had s severe mange mites, and that her coat may possibly never grow back.
They found our rescue and rang for some advice. But after 2 days brought her to us due to storms that we had and that they disnt feel they had the right knowledge or accomidation for her. So she came to Pigateers.
Since being with us, she has been doing very well and has gained nearly 100g in weight. Her skin has got less dry and scaley also. And she is slowly recovering from the mites. She seems to have major trust issues with humans, due tocthe inhuman person who did this to her. But we are workinf our magic at Pigateers to make her trust again!
Donations are for vet bills such as medication and treatment!

About the fundraiser
Gizzie arrived to us in a awful state where she is covered in mange mites and extremely dry skin. The vets have recommended that the total cost of vet bill will be around £400 for medication and treatment! We’ve had donations already from kind hearted people but still £250 needed
