Story
Heidi is battling stage 4 cancer of the lungs and brain and is a very precious and brave member of the St. Oswald's CE Primary School family. A bunch of 10 crazy and very committed parents and friends of the school are running the Chester Half Marathon to raise money to help fund some of Heidi's very costly treatment that she cannot received through the NHS. Please donate as much as you can to help keep Heidi fighting and to help the band of 1/2 marathon runners #Thefellowshipoftherun going!

5 years agoThank you to everyone for your support, it really does help me fight this. I've recovered from my latest round of targeted radiotherapy to the brain; another tumour came back. Its also returned to my spine, luckily only in L3 & L4 & the hospital have agreed to treat it with targeted radiotherapy. I'm a very lucky girl. I'm still waiting for the results of my lung biopsy which I hope will give me some positive news regarding new treatment options. In the meantime I'm throwing even more at it to weaken & ultimately kill the cancer. Heidi xx
