    Story

Highland Rugby Football Club's successful U12s Rugby Union squad, based out of Canal Park, Inverness, Scotland, have been invited to attend the landmark mini rugby festival with London Irish ARFC, the biggest one day mini rugby festival in the whole of Europe.

This incredible event is taking place on Sunday 26th April 2020 in Hazelwood, Sunbury-on-Thames, England, the home of London Irish. Generally this festival hosts over 2,500 children, with teams competing from England, Wales, Ireland, France, Germany and the Netherlands.

For any young and aspiring mini rugby player, this is the culmination of seasons of hard work, dedication, learning and fun! We will be the sole representatives from Scotland attending...hopefully...

...because to even get there, our community run rugby club needs to raise close to £10,000 to help pay for flights, road travel, accommodation, food, kit, insurance...and everything in and between!

Ideally we would LOVE for our players, or rather their parents/guardians, not to have to pay out hundreds of pounds for their kid's to enjoy this incredible opportunity. We always try to ensure rugby is accessible to all and everyone, whatever the circumstance. Our squad are a fantastic bunch, from all walks of life, and even if we can help with the costs slightly, it just might mean that ALL of our players will get to go.

And in ten years time, when you are turning on the TV to the Six Nations, and you see one of these guys pulling on a jersey to play for their country, you can kick back and smile, knowing that you helped get them there!

Please get in touch if you would like to help more with regards sponsorship or funding.

Otherwise please fire whatever you can into the fund, even the price of a coffee, will help all our kids get closer to London!

Our team are already out and about doing as much as they can to help raise funds, through local events, fundraising nights and projects, but there is only so much a group of 10-12 year olds can do...we do need your help. So please give generously, and help the next generation of rugby stars reach their full potential!!

    Thank you!!!
