I pass the same man and dog every morning I go to work and every time I am on a night out. He is a lovely man to speak to and I always stop and spare him any money I can or collect pet food for his dog. He says he finds it difficult to get into a hostel in Nottingham because he is a man and also has a dog. He loves his dog more than anything and she is in good health. Spiritually, I imagine they are both broken. So, I want to make his day, help him be comfortable and most importantly remind him that we are there to help him.

Many people think homeless people spend their money on drugs etc, If anything is donated to him I will not hand over the money, but will take him shopping for new clothes, toys for his dog, a decent sleeping bag etc.
