Story

PLEASE SPARE A MOMENT OF YOUR TIME TO READ DEANS LIFE CHANGING STORY!

Dean went to work on the 5th of September, he was involved in a incident where his hands got crushed in a machine which resulted in him being airlifted to Derriford hospital.

Since then he has had lots of surgery and leach therapy in an attempt to save his fingers, but they were unfortunately to severely damaged which resulted in all 8 of his fingers being amputated.

Dean is having skin grafts on both hands and will require lots of further surgery for at least 12 months to repair the damage to his hands. Deans injuries are life changing and have left him needing 24 hour care and assistance with essential daily tasks as he obviously has no use of his hands. Dean’s wife Jess is staying at his bedside through the night, with other family members staying at local accommodation so they can help too. Jess is a self employed cake maker and has had to cancel many cakes in order to care for Dean, which means their income has severely decreased.

Please help by contributing just a little towards helping our loveable dear friend Dean adapt to his life changing injuries. Any contributions will be used by Dean and his wife Jess to make life a little easier whether that be purchasing equipment/Care to help with day to day tasks or help to support with loss of income since these injuries mean he is unable to work. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Your help and support is very much appreciated.
