Story

Helping Hands Free Summer Football Programme provides structured coaching to hundreds of kids in Edinburgh housing schemes over the summer holidays. Building a positive legacy for Brad Welsh and our communities.

This Free Football Programme is part of our health and wellbeing strand and is overseen by fully qualified Community Development Workers. Each session is led by fully qualified, PVG and Disclosure Scotland compliant coaches. All kids receive a bottle of water, fruit and healthy snack at every session. We provide positive reinforcement and a safe and fun environment for all kids. Encouraging kids in hard to reach communities to live healthy lives.

Everyone involved gives up their time on a voluntary basis. All monies raised is used to purchase equipment such as mini goals, cones, training bibs, footballs, print promotional material, bottled water and snacks. All this equipment will, at the end of the summer programme, be donated to the local community as a positive and lasting legacy of Helping Hands Community Football Programme.
