Story

I would like to raise money for a lovely young lady Helen Fincham who in August 2016 at the age of just 21 woke up on a Wednesday morning went down stairs to make some breakfast watched some tele with her parents then after an hour her chest began to tighten and with that lost all feeling in her legs and arms...
after weeks of Tests Helen was diagnosed with a rare disease called TRANSVERSE MYELITIS.
Which is a neurological disorder caused by inflammation across both sides of one level or segment of the spinal cord, Attacks of inflammation can damage or destroy myelin the fatty insulating substance that covers nerve cell fibres.
This damage causes the nervous system scars that interrupt communication between the nerves in the spinal cord and the rest of the body.
We are now in 2018 Helen just turned 23 she is classed as a Tetraplegic with unlimited movement in her legs and hands 😣

Starting in Feb il be doing raffles each month with an amazing prize u can win E.g semipermanent makeup Botox meal for two, all money will go to Helen im going to be doing the Cardiff half marathon this year for Helen to raise more money and awareness of this awful disease im setting up a this page so all the money will go in here.
The money will help Helen with the financial costs that this has caused she pays £700 for a 5 week course of physio which is really helping Helen feel a lil more independent so if by doing all this and by lovely people like you reading this can help hopefully we can pay for a course of this for her

Thank you so much for reading xxx
