Hi everyone.

On the 28th July my facebook account was hacked. The person(s) who hacked my account sent messages to almost my entire friends list with a made uo story claiming I had been locked out of my bank and had a bill to pay, asking to borrow money (£400).

Being the generous and kindhearted person she is, my friend agreed and sent £400 over to the bank account they provided, they then went on to ask her for another £360 as there was another "bill" which she sent making a total of £760.

After calling her bank they have stated they are not liable and cannot refund the transaction due to it being made with faster transaction and the hackers already moving the money on. She has lost everything and now has no money to pay her rent or bills. All because she believed she was doing a kind thing.

Police and Action Fraud have been notified. The crime reference for the Action Fraud report is: NFRC200703804286.

I am absolutely devastated for her and this has broken my heart knowing this has been done using my name. I want to do everything I can to try and raise even a little bit of the money she has lost back. I know its tough times for everyone at the moment, but even the smallest donation would help.
