    Story

So its a long story but my main goal with this is to get my boyfriend away from his abusive parents. We are both 20 he has been stuck with his parents his whole life. From a young age they would abusive him physically and mentally. They would push him around, throw things at him, hit or punch him. They still do. They've thrown him down the stairs and shut his hands in doors in the 3 years we've been together and we live 3 hours apart so I can't just go and get him or hug him when he's crying. It's horrible to have to hear or see. The amount of times we've been on Skype, whether it's video chat or just audio, that I have seen or heard them do something. It makes me feel helpless and like i'm not a good girlfriend.

Now onto the debt part of this. His parents also won't let him get a job. The shorter way of explaining this is that his mother has never had a job in her life and has lived of benefits from the day she could get them. His dad is in and out of jobs. Whenever my boyfriend applied for a job and gets an interview he asks him mum for his birth certificate as it's his only proof that he can work in the UK and she refused to give it to him and has it hidden away. They told him his two options for earning money were to "Go on job centre" aka claim benefits or "Do an apprenticeship" theres no option for a job because according to her he will earn more money from an apprenticeship than a job which is not true. So to get around this he does jobs freelance online on a website called Upwork. He's earned a small amount of money from this. He saw a job back in October that was just to list a few items on eBay for someone, which can be fairly common, so he applied for it and gets it. The item they wanted listed was a tractor of sorts worth over £4,000. So he lists it, it sells and the buyer gives my boyfriend their phone number to organise delivery with the actual seller, which they do. So it gets to the delivery date which was towards the end of November and it doesn't arrive. So they buyer requests a refund, by this point my boyfriend has sent the £4,000 to the seller. So he contacts him and says they want a refund and gets no answer. Cut to today when the refund for over £4,000 has been taken and my boyfriend now owes Paypal almost £4,000 and yesterday he received an email from Paypal saying that if he didn't pay back the money soon they would use other means to pay back the money (Basically passing it to a DCA who will come and take stuff up to the value of the money). So my boyfriend got scammed and is now £4,000 in the red and because of his parents has no way of paying it back. We did contact Action Fraud but have had nothing back about it yet.

I honestly just want this to be over with. If i had the money i would just give it to him but I don't. I live with my parents and work in a retail job that doesn't pay well. I hate this. Everyday he just tells me how he wants to die because then it will be gone. He is severely depressed and suicidal about this and I feel helpless. I don't think i would be here without him. I just want him to be happy. We've been together just under 3 years and he saved my life I don't know what I would do without him.

I don't like asking for money but this is desperate times. I want to fix this debt and get him out of that disgusting house. Please help. Even the smallest donations make a difference, honestly they do.

    Thank you :)
