Story
Ukraine needs our help more than ever. Not least to let them know that we continue to stand with our Ukrainian friends and are unambiguous in our recognition of the sovereignty of the country and the aggression of Russia's brutal and illegal invasion.
We are now busy collecting donations of humanitarian aid for our next delivery to Ukraine in December. This will be our 26th project. Our priorities continue to be gathering food, medicines, sanitary products, batteries, and games, arts and crafts items for children, including musical instruments.
We also continue to raise money for direct purchases in Ukraine by our charitable partners.
Our story so far
Since March 2022 a group of individuals and organisations based in Peterborough, Stamford, Sheffield and Dronfield have been working with partners in Poland, Rivne, Kyiv and Kharkiv to help Ukrainian refugees in Poland and communities across Ukraine.
We have now made 25 trips to Poland and Ukraine, delivering over 100 tonnes of humanitarian aid, ambulances, camping stoves, generators and specialist medical equipment.
Our latest delivery in August 2025 involved driving three 4x4 vehicles from Bucharest to Rivne in western Ukraine, where they were handed over to Ukrainian military units to help with first aid and medical evacuation on the front line. We also recently supported further deliveries of food and aid to civilian communities in eastern Ukraine.

In June, we supported a Summer Camp in Poland for 28 Ukrainian war widows and their children, providing respite and counselling. This is the 5th camp we have supported.
