I've raised £7000 to Help get Selina and her children back on their feet after the devastating house fire.

My lovely friend Selina discovered a small fire in her house at around 11.30pm on Sunday 26th November. The Fire Brigade were called but they were unable to procure an adequate water supply to deal with the ensuing situation. More engines were ferried in but much too valuable time was spent and the fire spread throughout Selina's home.
The fire has completely destroyed her home, tearing through the upstairs and the loft, burning through the roof completely, leaving just a shell in its wake.
Needless to say all of Selina's belongings as well her children's were consumed by the fire.
All this has left her, and her young family totally devastated. Nothing is salvageable.
If that isn't bad enough then Selina discovered that the contents insurance had lapsed without her knowing.
Selina is the founder of Beckenham Market and has been tireless fundraiser for local businesses and charities over the years. St Christopher's Hospice, The Maypole Project, Bromley Bright Beginnings, and Bromley Shelter have all benefitted from Selina's charitable work. This year's charity to receive donations from the Beckenham Christmas Markets is Demelza.
She's an amazing woman that now is in need herself.
Please donate a few pounds and help this lovely family try and get back on their feet.
Firstly I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated and offered professional advice to Selina.
Having thought Selina wasn’t insured and through investigating further professionally I can confirm that due to a technicality she now has building insurance - such wonderful news!
There still is no content insurance and Selina will have to replace every item that makes a house a home including basic needs such as clothes for herself and her two children.
Selina is extremely grateful of the local support and with all of your help it will allow her start over and get back on her feet.
Christmas blessings to all and a huge thank you once again for supporting.
