Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
We are a group of 15 young students from Bristol City Football Club, who are currently participating in the national citizenship scheme. We have chosen to support Bristol Young Carers as our nominated charity.
Bristol Young Carers are young people who care for a member of their family, many of these young people have massive responsibilities at such a young age, and very little opportunity to enjoy fun, social activities (a normal childhood).
Our aim is to raise sufficient funds to provide a day trip to London, to visit Harry Potter World. This is a chance for the young carers to have a day without the worry and responsibility of caring for a family member.
To reach our goal, we are organizing a series of fundraising events, including: Christmas charity walk, Raffles, Sponsored head shave (of two of the Bristol City students) and bucket collections. This will be taking place on Saturday 10th of December 12:00pm - 5:00pm.
We welcome any financial support through donations and sponsorship. By helping us, you will be allowing Young Carers to be stress free for one day, and put a smile on their faces for many more days.
Thank you for your time and generosity.
