Until a couple of months ago, 20 year old Jeeves was living in a field in Kent. He was out of work, needing some basic care, and we were asked to collect him, so we hired transport and drove a 500+ mile round trip to collect him.

We had his feet trimmed, bought oil to reduce the splitting, wormed him, groomed him, treated his sores, had his teeth rasped, a loose infected one removed and a course of antibiotics. We also found out that 2 of his back teeth were fractured and needed removing.

To complicate matters, as we unloaded him we were presented with another horse in a similar state, so we found ourselves with double the bills!

Jeeves has recently managed to break another front tooth and he really needs them all sorting so that he can be comfortable and be returned to work, but the treatment isn't cheap and we could really use your help.

At 20 years old Jeeves still has loads of life ahead of him and is nowhere near being ready to retire. We'd like your help to make sure his remaining years are as fun and comfortable as possible please.
