Story

We are fundraising to help a remarkable woman with Sickle Cell Disease fund her new life - after everything she owned was taken away from her, whilst she was in a coma and subsequently stayed in ICU for a couple of months.

Juliet Iswan Dokoria had been staying in social housing for over seven years, but has been in and out of hospital for most of her life due to the cruel nature of this Blood Disorder, of which there is no cure.

She recently had a BRAIN HAEMATOMA commonly called (PRESS), which resulted into a COMMA for a couple of weeks. she in turn had stay in hospital (Bristol Royal Infirmary) for many months. She previously she had a Stroke and beat it, had Corona beat it and keeps having infections.

But whilst she was in a Comma, she was evicted from her home, and not only that, but every single possession she owned - including her passport, £300 in cash, Collection of Gold coins, family heirlooms - irreplaceable jewelry given to her by her Mother and Late Grandma, all of her clothes - everything. literary EVERYTHING is gone

Julie was finally discharged from hospital early this year - but she was taken to a freezing cold room, with nothing but a hospital bed and hospital clothes. Sadly she has had several hospital admissions due to the cruelty of this Blood Disorder.. And she's prone to infections due to her low immunity

I understand that the cost of living is unbearable at the moment, but anything you can spare will help Julie begin to rebuild her home and though it will not be able to replace what she has lost, it will give her the strength and support needed to carry on with a new lease of life. THANK YOU ALL
