Story
I am setting this page up to help local farmer, Stuart McDougall at Blairadam Farm, Kelty, who has suffered the loss of 16 new lambs to a vicious and cowardly dog attack carried out at Blairadam Farm, Kelty, Fife.
Whilst the dog cannot be blamed for this, the owner certainly can and clearly does not understand the impact that an attack like this will have on a small farm, to both their income and their mental and physical health. The impact on the ewes, who have lost their young will be devastating. To not own up or report what has happened, which I hope was an unfortunate accident, is just plain cowardly and they do not deserve to own a dog.
I am hoping that the money raised will help to fund replacements and help Stuart and his family to continue to manage the land, farm and contribute to the development of the rural sector in the area, whilst continuing to provide access that hashelped many of us locally to enjoy walks and access to a wonderful area during lockdown and beyond.
