Story

Hello!

We are so excited to be going to Uganda next month to volunteer at the Kitega Community Centre which specialises in helping children with disabilities that have been neglected by their parents and are now orphans.

Kitega Community Centre was established with the idea of providing a special learning area to those children with learning difficulties who had been rejected by their parents. Many of the parent's have neglected the children of even the basic human rights/needs.

Kitega Community Centre has intervened to show that with the proper educational, social and emotional support, children with disabilities can learn the skills to be self-sustaining and contribute to their families and communities.

We are crowdfunding in order to raise money for supplies that we can take to the centre. These supplies will include special disabled learning equipment for the children, toys, clothes and any further supplies the centre needs.

Thanks in advance for any donation.

All donations are greatly appreciated! :)
