Liam Southgate is a husband, and a father of 3.
Around 4 weeks ago, Liam collapsed when at home with his wife and children. He was having a heart attack at the age of just 34. I am sure any parents reading this will agree this would be your worst fears happening in front of you. Well this would have been theirs, and if it wasn’t for the bravery and quick thinking of Liam’s wife, Lizzy who knows what could have happened. She performed lifesaving CPR until the ambulance arrived. He was airlifted to Norfolk hospital where the great work from the doctors and nurses has got Liam on the mend.
This is where our help is needed. As of 1st of September he will be on statutory sick pay. After surviving this, the last thing you want is to have to worry about money. So I am asking the many reading this to collectively make a massive difference to this family.
I have spoken to a few local businesses and managed to get the below prizes, more tbc! For every £1 donated, you will get an entry into the prize draw. I will do this live on Facebook at a set time to be confirmed. Likely mid-September.

Of course, there has to be a challenge that I am going to take part in and this will also be streamed live on Facebook. My first challenge will be jumping into the cold sea from a friends boat. The only way I can get back in the boat is to answer 5 correct questions. These will be pot luck questions! This will be done in Aldeburgh on a date TBC.
If the target gets beaten, I have been in contact with a local paintball company and will do a stag run for every £100 over the target. To get close up footage, David King has offered to run recording on a go-pro.
Not only is this a worthy cause but there are some cracking prizes to win and on top of that there’s a little fun added with the challenges.
