On Friday April 30th, a devastating suicide truck bombing killed 30 people and wounded 90 in the province of Logar.

People were breaking their fast at a guest house in Pul-e-Alam and among the victims of this deadly blast were high school students who had traveled to sit for their university entrance exams.The blast was intense enough to demolish the guest house and people are still being rescued from underneath the rubble. The death and survivor toll are feared to climb.
