    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

    Hi , thanks for reading.

I met Jean two months ago and have been supporting her through my charity. Her story is heartbreaking. After her son died due to medical malpractice, she suffered a mental health breakdown and fell behind on her rent. She was subsequently evicted by the council and has been blacklisted from the housing register for 15 years. She has been homeless since 2008. She has suffered physical abuse, drunkards urinating on her along with people stealing her belongings. In this particularly cold winter, we are asking that you please spare what you can so that we can help her situation.

Maxine needs basic amenities such as toothbrushes, soap, deodorant and other basic toiletries along with items of clothing. She has been sleeping near a bin recently so your donation will also go towards securing short-term shelter.

You can listen to Maxine share her story here

    Thank you for your support.
