Story

These 2 little baby bunnies were up for sale on a local selling site due to the owner not having the room for them. As a rabbit lover, I get extremely worried when I see such young animals being rehome/for sale in case they fall into the wrong hands. Rabbits are not starter animals, as everyone is lead to believe, they can live 10yrs +, take a lot of time, love and devotion, as well as lots of £'s to keep. Please see rabbits for sale, going cheap, and think yes I'll get them for my children, and then within a few months the child gets bored with it, leaving the parents to look after the rabbit, who don't really have the time to do this. You hear horror stories of rabbits being bought to be used as bait, or as they are not neutered, letting them breed to get themselves a few bucks.

I did not want this to happen with this pair, they seem to have a bond, but being male & female they can not stay together with out being neutered, also they have not received any vaccinations again the 3 horrible diseases that affect domestic rabbits as well as wild, which includes the new nasty RHVD 2 which is sadly taking a lot of rabbits lives around the UK.

I am purchasing these rabbits, getting them vaccinated against disease and then when old enough, get the neutered to avoid any unwanted pregnancies. I will then look to rehome these rabbits, to a suitable and knowledgeable person only.

Due to my ill health, unfortunately I can only work part-time which means funds to ensure these rabbits get the best possible future is limited.

This is where you come in, if you could spare even just £1.00 this will help me raise the funds to carry out the vaccinations and neutering.
