Please see below a message from my niece who lives in the Philippine's and requires our help. To put this in perspective, she requires 600,000 PhP which roughly equates to £9000.

"I believe in God's perfect timing.

A few weeks ago, I decided to quit my job because I didn't want to put my health at risk any longer. I've been experiencing palpitations, severe headaches, with numbness-- especially in the left side of my body.

A few days ago, I had myself checked and the doctor requested that I undergo MRI. I immediately got the result and found out that I have this thing called Falx Meningioma-- a type of brain tumor.

Today, we've consulted with a neurosurgeon and we were told that I have to undergo operation as soon as possible. Problem is, the operation is estimated to cost us up to a million pesos (surgery and hospital bills plus other expenses for medication). My initial reaction was, "My goodness! Saan kami kukuha ng halos isang milyon?" Mas natakot ako sa gastos kaysa sa sakit ko, to be honest.

Through calls, we've managed to solicit help from our relatives. (Thank you so much po). We now just need to raise Php 600,000 more.
And so, I humbly ask for your help.

I thought, if I could find 600 people who are willing to give 1000 pesos each (or any amount, really), half of my fight is already completed. All I have to do is be strong and be courageous to undergo that surgery.
