Weʼve raised £395 to Help rebuild a family home that was lost in a fire, for which the cause is still unknown. It would be greatly appreciated by the family!

Story
On the 1st April 2017 a house fire broke out at 3 am in the morning in Cardiff. The house is a family home and 2 people were inside at the time, both had injuries from the fire but luckily nothing to extensive (it could have been a lot worse). We expect that a lot has been lost through this house fire, and repairs will need to be made to the house. So we are asking you to give however much you have to help rebuild their home, whether this is a couple of quid or more.
The daughter who is currently at university said 'Would probably prefer if my April fools wasn't actually a 3am house fire that my mum and my brother were in, so so glad they're both okay and it's just smoke inhalation and some burns...........can't even say how grateful I am to the emergency services that helped my family <3'

7 years agoThank you so much to everyone who has donated to this page and shared it on. The amount we've managed to raise so far is breath-taking, so please keep sharing it!!! A massive thank you to The Folio Society also. They've been in touch with me today asking if they can donate a collector's editions of The Shining after a 30 year old Stephen King collection was lost in the fire. I have an update: everyone who was in the house at the time of the fire are now out of the hospital and it looks as if they have lost a lot from their house so please keep giving what you can.
