What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
We originally set out to help our friends raise £1k to alleviate suffering in Calais. The response was so amazing that we've managed to now do so much more as #HelpCalais, and we plan to continue our work there. However, we see how much more needs to (and can be) done to help further afield, so we are setting up #HelpRefugees. We have already sent one arctic lorry load full of aid to Greece/ Macedonia & we want to continue to send more to places & people most in need.
