Imagine you had to flee where you were born because you feared for your life. Imagine queuing for hours every day so that your family could eat. Imagine not knowing where you were going. Well, almost 65 million people don’t have to imagine. This is their lives. I am trying to raise £1000 to go to Help Refugees, a grassroots UK based charity that helps refugees fleeing countries where they're no longer safe. The money we raise will go towards proper nutrition and hot food in refugee camps; saving refugees in dangerous seas; care for pregnant and breast feeding women; informal education for adults and children; warm clothes; medical services and so many other great causes. Some of the fundraisers we are doing include bake sales, bag packing and non-uniform days at schools, but if you can't take part in any of these please try to give what you can anyway.
