We are sadly at a stage where we really are fearing the future of the rescue. It’s not new news that we have been struggling financially, we are still paying off vet bills which continue to rise, and we are now at a point where we have had to stop taking further rescue intakes.
We don’t want to have to even think about closing our doors permanently 😔 but if we can’t get back up on our feet again then we will sadly have to close. There are too many unwanted, neglected small animals out there who need our help and we simply cannot afford for this to happen, but we are at serious risk. This is the reality of running a small animal rescue and every animal has the right to proper vet care.
See below for some of our permanent residents who are receiving ongoing care ⬇️
🐹 Jack - Jack requires regular dental around every 3-4 weeks. He is a permanent sanctuary resident due to his ongoing issues and lives with his forver foster family and his guinea pig companion, Chip. Despite his ongoing issues he continues to live a happy life and he always amazes us with how well he bounces back after his dental procesures.

🐹 Dandelion - Dandelion came to us in April along with Petunia & Maise where they were all rescued from a horrible hoarding situation. This poorly little underweight girl came to us with crusty eyes (due to ringworm) and a dull lifeless coat. In the photos below you can see the transformation and the progress this amazing girl has made since being eith us through proper love and veterinary care. She is however sadly not out of the woods as she is critically ill and fighting a horrible respiratory infection due to the awful conditions she had previously been living in 💔

🐀 Willow - Willow orginally came to us searching for companionship. It wasn’t long before we started noticing signs of a pituitary tumour. She was seen by our Exotics in December 2024 and she had a brain scan which showed a swelling in the pituitary gland. She has since been on pallative care and she has responded amazingly to treatment. She continues to amaze us every day and we are always observing her for any changes in behaviour, as we know things can change at any given time.

Please remember donations as small as £1, £2 or £5 go such a long way in supporting us. There are also lots of other ways you can support us if you’re not in a position of being able to donate. Sharing this JustGiving page would be a huge help in itself to help get the word out about how we need help 🙏🏼
