Recently little Nelson has been extremely poorly. He came home with me just a few days ago as he was living outside in the cold on a yard and his health was rapidly deteriorating. He had a really poorly tummy and was being sick every day for over a week and not eating. He should be a strong growing kitten just like his brother but instead he is a very weak boney kitten. After coming home with me we took a trip to the vets that informed us of the issue. Nelson's intestine had telescoped which caused a blockage. He has had to have surgery to remove a foot of his intestine.
Nelson is now thankfully on the mend! I absolutely love animals and couldn't bare to see him suffer. But being a student I am very limited on the funds I have. Nelson and I would be forever grateful if any fellow animal lovers would be able to make a donation towards the cost of his operation. The fantastic team of vets that have been helping Nelson are hopeful along with myself that he will make a speedy recovery. Fingers crossed he will get stronger and be back playing on the yard with his brother where he belongs!
