Shaligram is 15 years old. He was In school with hopes and dreams of a future he may now never get. He lost his mother at the age of 9, now his unemployed father is all he has for support. Unfortunately, Shaligram has been diagnosed with kidney failure, in both his kidneys, and is in urgent need of kidney donation and subsequent dialysis.

Unfortunately for Shaligram, he lives in Nepal where transplants are costly and in huge demand. A kidney transplant operation at Bhaktipur’s Organ Transplant Center costs $5000 (USD) and dialysis costs around $350 a month. Sanjay, his wife, and their family are trying their hardest to support their nephew, Shaligram, as best they can but they need your help. In Nepal, raising these funds quickly is next to impossible, this is why we are appealing to helping hands like you.
