I've raised £10000 to for specialist treatment to help Sophie walk again

As most people already know, in July Sophie had an accident whilst training. She had just found out that she would be graduating in psychology and went straight to the gym to celebrate. But she suffered a severe slip whilst squatting and her back was crushed by the weight of the barbell, compressing her spinal cord.
Even though she had emergency corrective surgery that night, Sophie is paralysed because of her accident. Which has been a traumatic and heartbreaking experience for her and her family who love her so much. Anyone that remotely knows Sophie knows how much training meant to her and, how hard she worked in the gym and for her degree. And despite the agony this accident has put her body through and, also suffering with depression and PTSD; Sophie has worked SO hard at her rehabilitation and still manages to be a bright and beautiful source in the lives of everyone around her.
Even though Sophie has spent 4 months in hospital/rehab, we’re raising money for her to receive specialised treatment to help her walk again. As there is no cure for spinal cord injuries, treatment is expensive and she might have to seek private treatment in another country. Sophie is only 21 years old but is one of the most determined people I have ever known and, she refuses to give up her dream of one day walking again. Sophie and her family would be so grateful for any help as we all support Sophie to get her life back.
