    Story

Sundip Singh Aujla is a much loved osteopath and healer at the De Beauvoir Clinic in London and a friend to many in our community.

He was very badly stabbed on the night of Friday 7th August whilst attempting to stop a sexual assault taking place in Walthamstow Marshes. Although he was able to prevent any further harm occurring to his girlfriend, Natasha and another friend, Mo, who had gone to help, Sundip took the brunt of the attack. After nearly 6 hours of surgery, he is left with life-changing injuries that will take a long time heal, along with the emotional scars, and has been warned his recovery could take up to 9 months.

His Osteopathy Clinic is now shut for the foreseeable future, depriving his patients of treatment and him of his livelihood. To help him focus solely on overcoming this and getting back to health, the community of De Beauvoir and friends have set up this page to support him. Thank you in advance for helping, please share if you can.

    SUNDIP UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2020

We originally set this page up to support Sundip when he was discharged from hospital and we are delighted that it is doing that. So on his behalf thank you to all of you who have contributed from around the world. It has been an enormous source of comfort to Sundip he is humbled by everyones generosity particularly when times are tough for so many. However, now that we have all had a chance to adjust to Sundip’s new reality it is clear he has a long road to recovery ahead and he is going to need mental, physical and financial support for at least 12 months. The money raised so far will tide him over for the first 5-6 months, but the injuries are so devastating we need to keep that support going for a little longer and we have therefore raised the target amount accordingly. Every contribution whether it be words or money, will be a huge help to Sundip and allow him to solely concentrate on getting better, getting out of his wheelchair, healing his body and mind and getting back to the job he loves. On behalf of Sundip thank you to each and everyone of you.
