Story

I'm currently out of work and in order to fill my time I have started collecting rubbish from local woodland and other areas of natural beauty in and around the Birmingham and Solihull area.

Although the local authorities clean up the parkland and the streets, the woodland is nearly entirely neglected with some of the litter I've collected so far dating back to the 1990s.

I want to keep doing this as it makes a huge difference to the local wildlife and provides a much more attractive place to go for dog walkers, families, children and anybody ealse who fancies a pleasant stroll.

I hope to fund the ongoing project via donations. Live streams on the internet will big a big part of it and I hope to use this along with social media to raise awareness and hopefull encourage people to take their rubbish home.

As the weather is now changing I need some decent outdoor clothing, waterproofs etc. I would also like to purchase a pull cart and some containers and reuseable sacks to allow me to sort as many recyclables as possible whilst creating as little possible waste myself. The cart will also enable me to collect the larger items I have been finding that I currently have to leave behind. These items include car and motorcycle parts, push bikes, christmas trees, televisions etc.

Please help me to help the local wildlife and make a better place for us all to live.
