Story
After my pawsome best friend passed away and having always had pets all my life, my home felt empty. I decided i wanted another pet, but wasnt ready for another dog so i adopted a feral kitten, completely unaware of the challenge ahead! With time and patience she became less aggressive and more trusting and when I came across a dog who needed a home a few months later, she became best friends with him! Feral cats are common in most areas, however, what is NOT common, are charities or organisations that will help these cats when they fall ill or become injured. They are very often left to deteriorate until the only option is for them to be put to sleep. Since having my own feral cat, I feel passionate about them and I have been looking out for the feral and stray cats in the area, organising TNRs and attempting to get medical treatment when needed. Which is always a challenge as the ones who can help do not cover the area and the ones who are in the area do not treat feral cats. Which is why I am looking to set up this charity. My aim is to gradually couple this with a retail department which would then self fund the work we do so as not to rely on public donations solely. I would also like to acquire premises to be able to keep feral cats in while they are recieving treatment eg. Tablets that need to be taken twice a day etc.
