I've raised £8000 to Fund Projects at West Bridgford Infants & Junior Schools

Government cuts have resulted in West Bridgford Infants & Junior Schools losing out on much needed funding. Infants will be running at a deficit next year and Juniors face similar problems in 2019-20.
On September 30th 2018, 387 school children and parents will be running the Ikano Robin Hood Mini Marathon to help raise funds for much needed projects at their school. Please show your support by sponsoring them and sharing this page!
Any funds raised will be split equally between the two schools to fund:
West Bridgford Junior School:
The Junior School is split across 2 sites, Main School and Cottages. The toilets at Cottages are in a terrible state and are in desperate need of refurbishment, with many children avoiding using them. This is something that the school have been unable to get government funding for and I hope you will all agree is in desperate need of fixing! Whilst the school still need to get quotes in they are looking at costs of approximately £4000...money they simply do not have.
West Bridgford Infants School:
In recent years WBIS have had increasing numbers of children who require extra support with a range of emotional health issues such as anxiety. We are aiming to raise £4,000, which will enable the school to fund additional hours for an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) to provide support for these children. (A full-time TA costs over £25,000.00 per year.)
Thank You!
