Our dear friends Zoe and her three amazing boys Phoenix, Oshun and Eden, have very sadly lost everything they own in the latest devastating forest fires in central Portugal.



The fire swept through the property and their whole home has been burnt to ashes, along with all their precious belongings that they didn't have a chance to rescue. The devastation is spread throughout the area, and so many other people have lost so much to the blaze.

We are so thankful and happy that Zoe and the boys are safe, have the support of an amazing community, and are staying with family and friends for now, but they need our help for the next step of rebuilding their home and life in the valley.



We would love to raise as much as possible to help them with this next phase of their journey. To rebuild their home, replace their solar energy, water and heating sources, to purchase a new laptop, furniture, clothing, education and study materials for the boys, tools to help rebuild the house and replant the land, trees and plants, materials/supplies/equipment for Zoe's natural remedy and healing business, and many other important lost belongings.

So much hard work and love over the years had gone into building their beautiful off grid eco home and creating a special space of land in this peaceful valley - the collective efforts, help and inspiration of Zoe and the boys and of their friends, family, community and volunteers (such as myself and boyfriend Alex who stayed, shared and volunteered with Zoe for a couple of months over this summer). It is a special space, and with your help, we know that it will rise from the ashes even better than before.
